Harry M Parker Award

The Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME) is inaugurating the Harry M Parker award at the SME annual meeting in Phoenix AZ, in February 2020.  This award is planned to be bestowed annually by the SME’s Mining & Exploration Division.

MTS would like to advise that Sue Kemper Parker, Harry’s wife, has asked that in lieu of flowers in Harry’s memory, those who wish to make a contribution should consider a donation to the SME Harry M Parker award fund.

The SME has asked that cheques be sent to the SME, and include on the subject line, “for the Harry M Parker award”.  The SME postal address is 12999 E. Adam Aircraft Circle, Englewood, CO 80112.
