Tim Kuhl has +35 years’ experience in the mineral industry ranging from exploration, development and, mine operations. His experience includes exploration and drill project design and management, construction of geological models and resource estimates, grade control, mine designs and reconciliation. Tim's commodity experience includes gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, nickel, cobalt, platinum, palladium and coal. His country experience includes Canada, Mexico, USA, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Indonesia, Australia, South Africa and D.R. Congo.
Before joining MTS, Tim worked for Wood Group for 15 years, and mining and exploration companies for 30 years, including Meridian, Newmont, Cliffs, Lac Minerals, TransAlta Centralia, Nerco, Apollo, and Homestake. He received a B.Sc. degree in Geological Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in 1975, a M.Sc. degree in Geology from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in 1982, and a Citation in Applied Geostatistics from the University of Alberta in 2007.
