David Thomas has more than 20 years of experience in operational and exploration roles at underground and open-pit gold exploration and development properties. He has acted as QP for mineral resources for several commodities and deposit types. David has significant strengths in geostatistics, development of geological models to control resource estimation, exploration data quality, exploration program design and execution. He is experienced with MineSight and Gemcom software.
Before joining MTS, David worked for TVX Gold in Greece and the Czech Republic for 5 years, Dundee Precious Metals in Eastern Europe for 6 years, AMEC Mining & Metals in Vancouver for 7 years, DKT Solutions for 7 years, and Red Eagle Mining in Colombia for 2 years. He received a B.Sc. Honors degree in Geology from Durham University in 1993 and a M.Sc. in Mineral Deposit Evaluation from the Royal School of Mines in 1995.
Dave is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
